A best-selling water filter, the APEC ROES-50 Reverse Osmosis Water Filter System features a five-stage filtration and reverse osmosis method to ensure removal of up to 99% of harmful contaminants so that you can enjoy unlimited bottled-quality drinking water right from your kitchen tap. This filter’s quality is hard to beat especially if you’re on a budget!

Key Features of the APEC ROES-50 Reverse Osmosis Water Filter System

APEC ROES-50 Water Filter

The APEC ROES-50 holds a WQA Std 58 Gold Seal, meaning that it is certified for material and parts safety, structural integrity, and contaminant rejection performance. This is a prestigious earning, and once you see all that this system offers, you will see why it is well-deserving of this Gold Seal.

Water filters through five stages with this system. During the first stage, the Premium Quality Sediment Filter removes dust, particles, and rust before it passes through the second and third stages, the Premium Quality Carbon blocks that remove chlorine, tastes, odors, cloudiness, colors, VOCs, and other impurities. The High Rejection RO Membrane, the fourth stage, removes up to 99% of contaminants, including arsenic, lead, fluoride, heavy metals, and more. The final stage is the Refining Coconut Carbon Filter, which filters out any possible residue taste or impurities left from the tank.

The ROES-50 produces 50 gallons per day at 60 psi or 30 gallons per day at 50 PSI. The feed water pressure 40-85 PSI.

This system features a modern design premium quality faucet with a lead-free brushed nickel finish. This faucet rotates 360 degrees, includes a smooth disc valve, and is sure to complement any kitchen.

Designed and engineered in the USA, this system goes through a rigorous, multi-point quality control process including Component Integrity, Construction Stage, Testing Stage, Packing Stage, and Final Inspection, before it is shipped and delivered.

Another feature of the APEC ROES-50 is that it is noiseless. Many water filters make humming or buzzing sounds as they are filtering, but not this one.

APEC believes that everyone should have access to clean water, no matter where they live. Through their Free Drinking Water charity program, APEC donates filtration systems to individuals with health concerns who have a lower income. Applications are found on their website. While this charity is not a feature of this specific product, it shows credibility and establishes trust for a company that is willing to generously help others in need.

What to Expect with APEC ROES-50 Reverse Osmosis Water Filter System

The ROES-50 system is 16 x 15.2 x 17.5 inches and 25 pounds. It is designed as an under-sink filter, but it can be installed anywhere you have a water feed line. While it is not huge, it will take up a significant amount of space.

APEC designed this product for simple installation and maintenance in mind. The quick connection fittings and colored tubings, along with the easy-to-understand instruction manual and videos, means anyone can install on their own. Most customers report installing this filter with no problems in less than an hour.

You will save money; in fact, the average homeowners report saving $1,029 or more a year with this system since they are no longer buying drinkable water. The ROES-50 filters are long-lasting:  Stage 1-3 filters need to be replaced every six months, while stage 4-5 filters will last 2-4 years. Unfortunately, the filters do not have an indicator to let you know they need to be changed, so you will need a TDS meter to check these.

The waste-to-water ratio for the ROES-50 is 3:1, meaning for every gallon produced, three gallons go down the drain. While this may seem excessive, a 3:1 ratio for reverse osmosis systems is average, and there are many that waste more than that (Some water filter systems are between 19:1-24:1!)

The amount of water production may vary due to water pressure and temperature, but this system produces 50 gallons a day at 60 PSI, which is more than enough even for larger families. The four-gallon storage tank is filled in around two hours and includes an automatic shut-off valve.

You will receive the support you need if you need it! APEC provides a customer support team of WQA Certified Water Specialists that are readily available to provide technical support if needed. In addition, APEC offers a two-year extended manufacturer’s warranty with the registration of this product.
